Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are your sites full hookup?

    Yes, all our sites are full hook up! They have electric, water, and sewer.

  • What is the body of water surrounding the park?

    We are a peninsula on the Bush River which is a tributary of the northern portion of the Chesapeake Bay.

  • What if I need to cancel my reservation?

    Our cancellation policy is if you need to cancel your reservation more than 7 days prior to arrival, it is a $25 fee (lock fees refunded).


    If you cancel your reservation within the week of arrival, it is a one-night fee (including lock fee)

  • What if I need to change my reservation?

    If you need to change your dates, you can change it once per reservation. Reservation changes must be made more than 7 days prior to arrival and cannot be made within the week of arrival.

  • What time is check in and check out?

    Check in is 2PM (4PM on Sundays and holidays)


    Check out is 12PM (4PM on Sundays and holidays).

  • Can we request a specific site?

    We have our favorite sites and we're sure you do too! When booking a reservation, you are guaranteed your selected site type, but there is a $25 lock fee per reservation for choosing a specific site.

  • Can we have guests?

    Yes! Guests (5 years+) are $5 per day per person/day. Max of 8 guests per reservation.

  • Are campfires allowed?

    Yes! Campfires are allowed in our overnight sites. We have wood bundles for sale in our store. Please no outside firewood. Long-term customers are welcome to use our community fire rings throughout the park!

  • Fishing

    MD fishing license required for anyone 16 yrs or older. Licenses available online https://compass.dnr.maryland.gov/dnrcompassportal or at any MD Wal-Mart.
