In addition to overnight visitors, Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina welcomes long term guests who enjoy experiencing life along the Bush River at a slower pace.


Our extended stay sites include full hookups with electric, water, and sewer connections, along with gravel pads designed for comfortable long term living while maintaining the natural character of the park.

Experience the Waterfront Lifestyle

Spending extended time here allows guests to fully embrace the waterfront lifestyle, build friendships, and experience season after season along the river. Many of our long term guests stay with us while working in the area, which contributes to the peaceful and quiet atmosphere that defines our park.


Extended stays are available for a minimum of two months and up to two years. Guests must maintain a verifiable permanent residence elsewhere, as the park cannot serve as a primary address. This approach helps preserve the balance between travel, relaxation, and community that makes Bar Harbor unique.


Over time, our long term guests have helped create a welcoming and neighborly environment where people look out for one another and visitors feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Their presence adds a sense of familiarity and continuity that returns year after year, contributing to the warm and authentic character of our family owned park.

Rates

Extended Stay Rates (Minimum 2-Month Stay)

Rates are based on double occupancy (2 persons).

2026 Rates

Off-Season (December 1, 2026 – May 1, 2027)

Starting at $1,000 + electricity


Peak Season (May 1, 2026 – December 1, 2026)

Starting at $1,100 + electricity


Additional Person Fees

(Ages 5 and above | Maximum occupancy: 8 persons)

$35.00 per week

$100.00 per month

Long Term Reservations

  • Sites have water, electric (30/50), sewer
  • Long term reservations are made 2 weeks prior to arrival.
  • Reservations are held with a non-refundable $250.00 deposit that goes toward your first month stay.
  • Remaining first month balance is due at the time of arrival.
  • Payment of first 2 months are non-refundable.
  • $20 monthly discount if you pay cash
  • This may not be your permanent address. You must have a verifiable permanent address else ware. Permanent address may not be a P.O. Box.
  • RVs may not be older than 10 years
  • Mail service: $50.00 annually + $25.00 key deposit
